Stillwater Construction Group, LLC is a full-service waterproofing, roofing, masonry and concrete restoration company.  A woman-owned construction company, Stillwater has provided these services in the greater Washington, DC community since 2007. Employing over 50 full-time craftsmen specializing in masonry, caulking, tiling, waterproofing, roofing, carpentry and concrete repair, we can manage projects of any scope and size. From large complex national infrastructure projects to plaza restorations, Stillwater’s expertise addresses each project with the same dedication, knowledge of the underlying causes and attention to final details that is required for a successfull project completion. Many of our employees have worked directly with the company’s principals for over 20 years, providing a climate of expertise, excellent workmanship and trust. Being able to provide these services in-house allows Stillwater to have tight quality control and ultimate confidence in the jobs we produce.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Stillwater approaches all projects from the unique perspective of a waterproofing company first. While approximately 10% of a building’s initial cost is related to waterproofing, caulking and roofing, 90% of the problems encountered during the life cycle of a building’s envelope are related to poor water management. The parts of the structure that keep water out eventually deteriorate. The environmental loads on the structure – seasonal cycling of temperature, wind, and rain – cause damage to the building’s defenses. When this clear understanding of what is truly initiating the problems is addressed first, the overall lifecycle and performance of the building is improved.
